I posted agreeing with them, not even adding my own thoughts, and you jump on my nuts.

Read better. I commented on your whining about not being treated fairly when you post the exact same thing in every thread when you dislike an episode. I feel like I'm talking to a wall here, but once again, people don't care that you don't like an episode. It's your one dimensional, tired, and repeated argument that we are all too familiar with. So stop the bitching and understand where people are coming from.

My last comment was to point out how short of a memory you have. You gave more positive reviews of last seasons episodes since the existence of this board, but you think the new format sucks. We all know you loved South Park before it became social commentary, but those days are gone. it sounds like you'd rather ditch the serialization and revert back to prior seasons which you disliked even more.

I'm not sure why I'm explaining myself, but I think most people read a few words and just downvoted my post. I totally get the whole analogy of social media to suicide. For me that was just a little off putting because of personal reasons. Which I realized and included that fact in my post.

Also, I'm just not sure of how I feel about South Park's new direction. I'm still really invested in the show, and I still really like it. In fact, it's like a show where you can't wait for what's next and the 22 minutes goes by really quickly. There's a lot of shows like that. ER comes to mind. The story and the constant "what's coming next" was very enjoyable. However, it isn't that rewatchable. But then there's shows like Frasier and Seinfeld which weren't intense serialized shows and I could watch them dozens of times and still laugh at the same jokes. So I guess I still like the stand alone South Parks better, just because I can rewatch them more. Having said that, I've watched Tweek and Craig like twenty times.

Just my two cents, the best combo of super intense plus rewatchabilty was West Wing.

I've watched the crap out of that Sodosopa real estate commercial.

Ohhh sooo Sodosopa

ETA: though, as a general matter, I agree that the standalone episodes are more rewatchable. I'd argue there hasn't been a certifiable classic episode since "Cock Magic".
