Mrs. Midnight kind of wants to watch it. I was going to watch Discovery, but they took a knee, so I'm not going to watch it now. So, if I do that, how can I watch Orville, knowing how far to the left MacFarlane is?

Stupid Hollywood and their stupid politics. I'm finishing Vietnam on PBS and maybe we'll give The Orville a try.

MacFarlane makes fun of himself for being preachy and regardless of his politics he’s never been pugnacious about it

Even Andrew breitbart met him and said he was pretty awesome. They did one politically oriented show but it was even handed and I take it that The writers aren’t cool with making kids trans

At this point, I'm far more likely to watch The Orville than any of the fan fiction Star Trek products (i.e. anything from 2009 to present).

It’s pretty good. I’m shocked. Whoever is writing it very much gets Star Trek TOS

If you mean reusing TOS plots, then yes.

I do like the fractured but whole thus far. But it’s not the fresh experience of a fully realized South Park and it definitely can’t top the moments from that game

Anal probe
Abortion
The parents fricking level
8 bit Canada
Mr slave level

It was a riot

I just barely got started on Stick of Truth (got it on sale a couple of years ago) and never went back.

So, I just need to do it - more interactive South Park than actual "game"? I think I was having a problem with that - I was trying to play it too much as a game, inventory management and trying to figure out the best way out of the room.

It’s more immersion, references a plenty, easter eggs and just funny shocking humor and an outlandish story

It’s a game for sure though. It’s final fantasy 1 but South Park. In fact when you get to Canada it’s exactly like 8 big final fantasy

The lapdance event and the "buddy teamups" in the new game had me spitting my drink out laughing.

There's a boss in the Fractured But Whole that I nearly choked from the laughter as soon as it's revealed. You'll know it when you get there.

It was funny

But stick of truth was just so laugh out loud shocking. It’s impossible to match it

But the game is funny, it’s enjoyable, I like it. It’s different and it needed to be. It’s the best game they could have made

I’m shocked they still have the amount of referential material after stick of truth. I’m a little disappointed there’s no Whole Foods or ci-pa-town

They have given their polltical stances, they just don't cram it into their shows. They'd probably be best classified as classic liberals or libertarian
