Spoilers obviously

Walt poisoned Brock with a flower not ricin. So how the hell does Jesse automatically know Walt poisoned the kid?

He knows that Walt got Saul to lift his ricin cig, that's enough. imo.

Maybe because Jesse thought all along Walt did it. Then Walt went out of his way to prove to Jesse the risin was just lost.

Top that with Walt whistling while Jesse mourns over the other kid killed by Todd. Coupled with him knowing Walt was responsible for Mike's death & 9 inmates deaths. Guess Jesse is finally realizing how evil Walt is?

Walt lifted the ricin, used Lilly of the Valley, knowing the symptoms are similar in the hopes that Jesse would freak and go to the hospital yelling ricin ricin thus raising red flags with authorities and the wedge walt needed between jesse and his girl.

jesse just realized all that shite.

This may be what the writers were going for, but those are some major jumps and assumptions to make.

Especially Jesse running into the hospital screaming about ricin

And i'm pretty sure that poisoning was more about getting rid of Fring, not Jesse's GF. Walt manipulated Jesse later on, in one of those houses they were using to cook, into getting rid of her

Jessie figured out Hule lifts thing for Saul. He connected the Hule lifted the cigarettes for Saul for Walt.

He's not really thinking about the fact that he knows Brock was poisoned with Lily of the Valley, he's only thinking about the fact that Walt manipulated him and used Brock to get what he wanted.

Walt also manipulates Jesse into breaking up with the Andrea.

But he didn't use Brock if he didn't poison Brock. What's the connection?

He might have just wanted his damn ricin back.

Either Walt gave Brock something or had Saul give Brock something with the lilly of the valley in it or so it was implied when Walt picked up the rici n earlier in season 5.

In season four Jesse went to Saul's to get his money? Not sure of the exact reason, but Huel frisked him before letting him in the office. At this point Jesse has the ricin cigarette on him. Huel took the ricin cigarette pack and switched it with a pack missing a cigarette.

When Brock showed symptoms of ricin poisoning, Jesse assumed Walt did it because they were the only ones who knew about the ricin. Jesse threatens to kill Walt, Walt denies poisoning Brock and says Gus did it. Jesse believes Walt and helps him kill Gus.

Now back to 5.3B, Jesse is waiting for the "guy" and realizes his weed has been replaced with cigarettes. Huel bumped into Jesse just as he did in season 4. Jesse connects the dots and realizes that Huel took the ricin cigarette, Walt is and has been lying to him, and that it was not Gus that poisoned Brock. He threatens Saul, Saul squeals on Walt.

The ricin cig missing and that kid almost dying was not a coincidence.

I don't think it's confusing at all. Go rewatch the episodes where Jesse confronts Walt about it. Jesse just finally hit that breaking point where he realized everything Walt has done to him has been for selfish reasons, especially putting blame on Gus for the Brock incident.

I already understand everything you posted. This is the disconnect I'm having. Everyone knows and thinks it was a lily plant and a freak accident. Not a missing ricin cig or Gus doing it.

I get the connection but to me it just seems too much without more explanation.

He now knows that the ricin wasn't lost and that it wasn't an accident. Either way, at the time Walt convinced Jesse it was Gus. Which ended up getting Gus killed and leading to all of the killings in season 5.1 due to Walt's rise of power.

I think you pretty much nailed it.

It just seems to fit too neatly into to place to have Jesse put all those dots together that quickly, in that exact moment. It would be much easier to see Jesse jumping to those conclusions if Brock had actually been poisoned with ricin.

He had his weed replaced with cigs tonight. So he thinks back and assumes thats the same way they took his ricin...ok i can go with that. But then he connects the dots that Walt did poison the kid, but didn't actually use the ricin he stole. He used something else, hoping Jesse would think he used the ricin and Gus was actually behind it...

Seems like a ton to put together in that moment, thats all. Im going with it though...
