Look, I feel bad for the guy too, but not only doesn't she go back, he is most likely going to die in there. Her escape logically requires that the only people who know about her existence must die. It's the only way she escapes free and clear.

Is it bad that I thought Oscar Isaac was the dude from the Santa Claus?
Still a great movie. I honestly wished the ending had more of a twist then it did. Could have gone a number of ways but it was still pretty badass.
And I could care less about Caleb, he got played hard. Textbook hipster quote machine with no real tact other than taking advantage of a savagely drunk dude.

I've got a question about this movie, didn't Caleb say he rigged the doors to open when the power went out and that was to be their escape? Well after Ava leaves there is another power failure, yet Caleb is still locked in that room.

I thought everything went orange/red as AVA was leaving. I'd have to watch it again which won't be happening til it comes to HBO or whatever. I may be entirely off base since I only viewed it once.

Utter Smoke.
Didn't really like the ending at all, I just watched it again.
Still wishing there was a more comprehensive twist to it, although the dagger to Caleb's heart was not traditional.
