they're running a deal where you get Paramount+ with Showtime, for $59 for 1 year, which is $6 a month (50% off). I figure at that price, it's probably worth it.

recommendations?

Two movies they have are Schindler’s List and the Fabelmans. I don’t think any other streamer has those unless you want to pay for them.

Also 1917

I really like Special Ops: Lioness, Joe Pickett, and Seal Team. All the Yellowstone spinoffs are really good too.

For that price why not? It actually has some decent content.

Tulsa King
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
Yellowstone mini-series (1883 and 1923)
Dungeons and Dragons was actually a fun watch.

If you've never seen Homeland on showtime it's pretty legit. One of my top 5.

i've been running through Billions right now. Another one of those shows that starts off great and then derails a few seasons in. Still watching though and am still mostly entertained.

I'm late in Season 5 right now and just experienced a weird real life time jump in the middle of it. Apparently they had to stop filming Season 5 during the pandemic and didn't pick it back up until a year later. During that hiatus, Giamatti lost a lot of weight and his hair turned gray. However, there's no jump in time in the show's narrative so they address the physical difference when someone walks into his office and does a double take look at him. Pretty funny, but his appearance has been distracting to me so far.

The Offer (If you're a fan of The Godfather or Robert Evans, you'll enjoy it.)

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (The best of the post-Deep Space 9 ST TV.)

Hawaii Five-O (The original series.)

Star Trek: The Animated Series (If you like to watch TV high.)

I recently binged all the MI movies

I started watching fire country and gave up in the second episode.

Very predictable and lots of boxes checked.

Special Ops: Lioness
Homeland
Billions
Dexter

We just finished homeland and will be watching billions. I watched the first couple seasons when it came out but will do a rewatch with the wife. Not sure if I can get her into Dexter, but I'll rewatch that one by myself with no problem.

We're in the first part of season 5 of Billions so we'll probably see what you just posted next week.
