I've watched enough to know you're wrong. IMO the main problem is that the writing is horrendous. Long gone are the great writers like Al Frankin, Kevin Nealon, Mike Myers. Forget about the original cast, those guys are untouchable, lie the Mount Rushmore of SNL. Kenan Thompson is the only consistent talent they have that could even be considered comparable to past great cast members.
I just think overall it's weak talent and even weaker writing these days.
