Enjoying the show overall, but still can't get over how unlikely the whole thing really is. I just have a hard time believing that the family would recognize him as their long lost relative. I mean he was 11 years old when he left and it has been 20 years. I doubt the family would think that he was their family member by looks alone.

I enjoyed it too but it is a little far fetched in some places.
spoilers

Karolina was banging Vince for three years all for a long con? The cons are pretty hard to believe too. Especially the final con, too many parts that could have gone wrong and basically everything had to go perfectly right for it to work. I would never have walked into that room with that many what ifs out there.

But I'll watch the next season. It was fun and I like Giovani Ribisi and Margot Martindale. The dad is well done too.

I think Karolina was Vince's prisoner. I read the situation as she did not have a choice and was not allowed to leave.

I guess that could be what they were going for. I still see that as far fetched though because she obviously has freedom to come and go. Why didn't she go to the cops and testify that she saw him murder their friend, or that she's been kidnapped. Seems like a lot for a monetary payoff. Maybe there is a code about ratting but how many women are going to follow a code like that? It just bothered me a bit.
