the production crew HAS to be telling him what to say and what to instigate. the Bahamas episode was a train wreck, but admittedly still entertaining to watch ha.
at first I was intrigued to see what drama the show could put together, but now all I'm interested in is seeing Juliette and Amanda in their bikinis. Amanda looks like she just loooovvvvesssss to ride. Pretty sure I saw she works at a hooters. seems fitting I guess. she'd look better in a twin peaks outfit than those nasty orange bottoms tho.
Kelsey gets less attractive to me by the episode.
Chloe...please just leave the show. Not that this will get a second season anyways.
Juliette...what an attention whore. Jumping in the sack with Alex after talking so much shite. Classic. still hot tho.
Madison and that other guy....could not be more forced for television.
I'm ashamed of myself for going in that much detail.

bump for the guilty pleasure watchers...
does the show seem more and more scripted each episode to any of yall? the pool scene with the guys was comical. I imagine the production meeting went something like this.... "let's put 3 guys who have all hooked up with the same girl at her party. oh wait...lets ALSO invite the new girl! one of the three guys who dated the party girl has a crush on the new girl so that'll be awkward. not to mention he just broke her and her bf up"

ha I was going to bump this but you beat me to it....
the pool party was soooo scripted/fake. she hosts a bbq, and the only people that show up are Alex and Kelsey who are on the precipous of hooking up, and her ex and current bf. every other gathering in this show has like 10+ people.
I will say this though, the last few episodes have been more entertaining than the first 3.
I can't wait for are you the one s6.... thats a guilty pleasure show that's way better than siesta key. 90s house looks interesting also.

I bailed on Siesta Kay after the first 3 episodes, but I might fly through them one day and catch back up (if you take out all of the slo-mo shots and "parents" talks, the episodes are like 20 minutes)
AYTO this year looks like it has a pretty good cast. The girls also seem to be getting a little better looking overall, too. Plus, AYTO serves as good scouting for upcoming Challenges.
I like changing the hosts too. Devlin had become a pretty insufferable douche, plus the Terrence guy seems is nice, likeable dude.
I know MTV has recently had a change at the top of their network, but whatever they are doing seems to be working for me at least. Over the last decade or so, I watched the network for literally one show that lasted about 3 months -- the Challenge.
Now my dvr has about 4 shows that always record nearly year round. The Challenge (which now airs about 4 times a year), AYTO (about twice a year), AYTO second chances, and now Siesta Key (which will probably get a spinoff with an improved cast).
I'd imagine the new network head is catering far more to the slightly older crowd who remembers the MTV heyday of the late 90s and early-mid 00s. I'd say that's probably a wise move since most 16-18 yr olds basically only watch YouTube now and have their heads buried in social media 24 hrs a day.

I was hooked on are you the one 5 minutes into the first episode. That show is fricking awesome, the girls are mostly hot, plenty of drama/hookups.
I had trouble watching second chances though because all the GoPro footage during the challenges made me nauseous.

where my guilty Siestas at?
caught up on this week's ep last night, so here's my thoughts in order of appearance (and what I remember)...
1. Pauly...
... "I wanna be a rapper". you serious clark? thankfully they only gave him a few mins of screen time.
2. the scene where Madison and Brandon are in his studio listening to his music and what not was meh. I think of all the storylines, theirs is the most scripted. there's just always a sense of awkwardness.
3. the anger management chick's apartment warming party. love how Juliette's fine arse went and slithered into Garrett's life. this chick just banged alex out of spite in the last episode and now she about to hang from Garrett's D. classic. maybe her and alex should just stay together. That's the best thing they have in common is banging other people.
4. any one notice they didn't show a single scene of Alex and Kelsey dancing at that country bar. exposed without even being filmed haha. I know the producers only show what they feel will cause more viewers and drama, but Kelsey's shite is overplayed. I wanted to press fast forward to Juliette and Garrett getting back at her.
5. (spoiler if you hadn't seen previews) looking forward to the bomb that's about to blow up when Garrett makes out with Juliette in front of Kelsey next week

I share a similar sentiment towards the show. it's just too scripted for my taste, Pauly sucks, Brandon and Madison don't interest me, and Kelsey isn't that hot.
I just want to see Juliette and Amanda, and whatever hookup drama there is. I'll keep watching.

I haven't watched the show in weeks...but.. Yeeesh.

The whole show is fake. The main dude's dad was shopping around this show centered around his son for a while and MTV finally bit on it.

I just wished they would've auditioned and used better actors to at least meke the story's more compelling...or at least get better writers.

It was probably fake, but I still thought it was entertaining.
This whole show has fallen off the rails. The slow-mo shite was old after EP1, but the lines/acting/interactions are cringeworthy.

Yeah Juliette has her 20th bday.
There's no doubt she was recruited for this. She's not even the same age as these cats. But kudos to the production company for getting an FSU gal to at least keep the interest going.
