I get that. On a similar subject, i think it may be possible that Shield has an agent inside of Hydra.

Was it mentioned that Tripp's fake name to get into the military facility was General Jones? If I had to guess, that was a tip of the cap to Gabe Jones, the characters grandfather, I think.

One of the photos out there has Agent Morse dressed as a HYDRA agent.

And according to the synopsis, Donnie Gill (Blizzard) returns on episode 3.

If they're going that route, does Dum Dum Dugan make an appearance in the present day having not aged? (They could frame it so that Carter and Morita never took the serum when offered because of their families)

Well the Carter series runs mid season, so they a reveal could lead to Dugan coming into play in the second half of season 2...or they could present him as an LMD.

Now that I think about it, since Union Jack was also a Howling Commando and there are allies in Britain according to Coulson, he could be an Infinity Formula candidate.

ETA: although it has been said that his file lists him as deceased in an Avengers deleted scene but characters like Dugan and Frenchie are two characters that are officially listed as unknown status on the MCU wiki.

In the Original Sin event, it's revealed that Dugan was killed in 1966 and the version we saw was a Life Model Decoy with his consciousness. He begs Fury to let him stay dead then shoots himself in the head.

Original Sin ignores years of continuity regarding Dum Dum.

The episode that introduces Bobbi Morse is called "The Hen in the Wolf House".

Is absorbing man dead?

How can the flower dress lady touch the obelisk and not die?

Preview of next week: Is Simmons really Hydra or did she have no choice in the matter?

Because it let her live... and the doctor said he'd tell her why when she brought his daughter to him (who is Skye???)... or that's what I thought, anyways.

Possibly, possibly not. He turned to stone, but the stone looked a LOT like what the artifact did to others. He had just gotten control of that when Coulson put the gizmo on him so it could be that his body is trying to adapt to whatever the artifact does.

My guess is it has to do with the blue alien (Kree?) DNA, and that would mean she has it as well but only a trace. This could them mean Skye is a true Kree?/Human hybrid.

My prediction is that she got so pissed at what HYDRA did to Fitz that she went rogue to bring them down from the inside and not even Coulson knows about it.

I dunno man. I've been suspicious of her for a while now. She has said quite a few things that could be taken multiple ways.

She could do either. I think there has been too much setup for it though and that much setup for a big character turn is not this show's style.

Simmons is Hydra!

My guess is she was Hydra before she met Fitz, quit while at the Academy. The show dropped hints last year about Hydra scientists being young and talented, her desire to get skye's blood tested at a SHIELD base (maybe Triskellion) and a moment when Hand was testing Tripp and her(she waited for Tripp to respond).

I believe Hydra had many factions and Simmons fell off the radar before Garrett and Ward knew anything about her. Or it just a red herring.

As for final scene, I'm thinking Inhumans are being inferred.
