Shameless: what's this board's perception of this show

I'm about halfway threw the first season. It's seems ok for the most part although idk how the 2 gay teenagers could sense each other's gayness when they were fighting. So I guess the question I've got, is it worth to keep watching?

I am entertained by it, it's not perfect but I recommend it.

Yeah, the first 3-4 seasons are solid, then it dips for a few seasons, it is on the upswing again with the season that wrapped this fall (7 I think).
Be prepared to hate 33% of the storylines each season. Pretty much anything involving Debbie, Ian, and the awol mom suck.
The gay stuff can get pretty annoying but Mickey turns out to be one of the better characters as the show progresses.
Fiona is trashy hot and gets naked a lot. Lip bangs a lot of pretty young things who also get naked. Frank is a hall of fame degenerate.
It isn't a Mt Rushmore show but definitely worth the watch if you like nudity and watching trainwrecks.

I enjoyed the first couple of seasons and then finally realized this was a stupid fricking show with zero advancement. Too much really good stuff out there to waste time on it.

yes. It has its ups and downs, but it is a good show that usually get favorable reviews in similar threads.

This is my opinion.
I got to the season where Fiona banged her boyfriends brother and deb is all weird. Started to hate it. The first few seasons are good. I may stop watching. I will continue if someone can tell me wether or not jimmy comes back

One of my favorite shows. Not every storyline is great but it's still entertaining. Cameron Monaghan grows into a great actor as Ian.

The main criticism I've read/heard is that as the seasons go on, it's pretty much all the same shite rehashed, which I can totally see.

Top 5 current show for me. Seasons 5 and 6 drag a little but I still like it.

I'm through 5. Very repetitive and as someone earlier said, the Debbie plot is getting very annoying. Fiona of all people is starting to piss me off for some reason. Carl's story is just ridiculous right now. I don't know why I'm still watching.

Exactly how I feel. By the time I got through the last season I hated it. They've given up on having any real storylines, it's just the characters doing a bunch of outrageous things. Fiona is either dancing and screwing or screaming and crying, there is a block of each and every episode for this to happen.

The original is a smile because it kind of reflects things as they really are this one is kind of inventive in my opinion
