Shameless is one of the best TV series ever

This show doesn't get enough love on here. They somehow turn a show about crazy narcissistic addicts into a meaningful deep show where you really care about most of the characters.
They took Mickey Malcovich from probably one of my most hated TV characters ever and through his Staley arch turned him into one of my favorites and someone to root for.
The only character I consistently root against is Frank but he's fricking hilarious and I love rooting against him. The whole show is fun, ducking hilarious, and thoughtful. It's up there with The Wire as my favorite series ever and it's still going.
Also you get to see Emily Rossum naked all the time
And Shana Hampton is one of the hottest black girls on TV and she's naked ALL the time on that show

Bollocks. If you remove all of the great titties, it's barely watchable. You wouldn't have it in your top 10 without the nudity.

I loved the first few seasons. I finished the sixth I think? I'm done. It's becoming too stupid and like someone said above, it's an endless loop of rinse and repeat. There are definitely some hotties on the show, but there's this invention where you don't have to sit through a miserable 50 minutes to wait for boobs and arse: porn

I've pumped this series a few times on the board. I love it and actually like it more than The Wire. That's right, I said it. Haha. The Wire is just way to slow for me and as soon as you get invested in the characters and the story, it changes.

I don't agree with this at all, I mean some of the storylines are repeated with Frank and with Monica leaving and coming back but they're addicts isn't that kind of what addicts do?

For me, Frank is worth the watch by himself. He pulls some outrageous shite. One of my all time favorite characters.

The show was awesome...until about season four when they shifted focus from Ian and Lip to Deb and Carl. Debbie is so annoying, especially when pregnant. Her acting was just over the top try hard when pregnant.
Season 6 they shifted the focus back over to Lip and Ian which was for the better. I'm just not sure where they go to now.

It's a good show, but I will never understand the amount of love Phillip gets. He's terrible.

And it does get plenty of love on here, not sure where you got that idea.

It's in the 5-10 range of shows currently running. But like somebody said, probably not even top 50 all time.
To compare it to The Wire is blasphemy btw. One of the dumbest things I've ever read on this board, and Shameless is a current personal favorite (I was on the bandwagon before it was on Netflix and most people had never heard of it btw. I started one of the first threads about it ever on this board)

I'm catching up on Netflix right now. I'm in season 6 and they just introduced Yanis. His first scene had me cracking the frick up
