Probably in the minority here but I think Next Friday is better than Friday.

Austin Powers 2 is the best of the three

1 and 2 are pretty much tied for me, while Goldmember was pretty much ruined by Beyonce (don't talk, just sit there and look pretty) but it had its moments.

One of these things is not like the other, I'll let you guess though. Here's a hint, it involve Mickey Rourke.

I know which one you are referring to, but I thought the 2nd Iron Man movie was the best of the 3 so I included that one in it. By no means is it even close to the other 6 I included.

If we're not limiting ourselves to just "part 2's", a case could certainly be made for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

T2 is the hands down best from that series. Also I agree with the Toy Story 3 posts.....on a whole other level emotionally than the others (which were both still good). I'm a 35 year old man that enjoys everything from Bubba HoTep to Apocalypse Now, but the scene at the end with Andy playing with his toys for the last time gets me almost every time lol.

Also Lethal Weapon 4 may be my favorite from that series.

Agreed. Strange thing is that apparently on imdb and other places, Indiana Jones is regarded as the weakest of the trilogy. Same thing with Return of the Jedi. I don't know how you feel about ROTJ but I still think it's my favorite.

For me it's neck and neck with Empire.....couldn't really give you a favorite there.

I think Empire gets the nod with people a lot of times because it ends on a down note with defeat essentially, and with such a cliffhanger. I also think the end game scenes with Luke, DV, and the Emperor in ROTJ may be the best sequences in the entire sixology.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion but I think Return of the Jedi is the second worst film out of all six, just slightly above Episode 1. Ewoks are unforgivable to me.

I think Empire was probably the most well-written and well-directed of the 3. But I still love ROTJ the best. To me, what makes a trilogy great is when the third film ends everything properly. And I completely agree that the scenes with Luke, DV, and the Emperor might be some of the best sequences of the entire saga. Plus, the space battle was really awesome.

Ehh, I guess we were bound to disagree on something. Though, as you stated, you are entitled to your own opinion. For me, I never had a problem with the Ewoks. It was just something I always accepted as being in the film. I was young when I first saw Star Wars so it might be an age thing. Still, at 27 they don't seem that bad to me.
