I thought it was pretty cool. The first 3-4 episodes weren't great, but the last 3 were worth it.

I liked all the characters. I really wanted to punch the Mexican chick in the face though That whole storyline was like reading a Brianne chapter for me. I rolled my eyes every time they came on screen.

The German guy and Sun do not hesitate to frick shite up either.

This show does have a lot of potential. The Mexican story line was a bit annoying. I though the African guy's was a bit amusing and entertaining. I like the Chicago PD guy/ the german/ and Sun the most. I'm just wondering what the DJ brings to the whole thing. Haven't figured out what her skills are yet. The whole LGBT shite is really, really, heavy handed. I read in another thread that one of the Wachowski brothers changed genders and that's obviously the motivation behind it. They just need to chill out a bit.

They're probably going to pull some shite like she is the "key to it all" or something. If that happens I'll akin her to the kid on Captain Planet who had the heart ring and was completely useless. African kid is just cars I guess. Happy to see indian chick use her scientist skills.

And he is kind of the "heart" of the team. The moral compass so to speak.

I wonder if in future seasons if they will ever actually bring them all together in one place (physically, not just mentally)? I guess that would kind of defeat the purposed of their mental link.

I could see that being a good ending where they all finally come together. Not that I have been thinking about it, Riley is probably the maternal figure that takes over from Daryl Hannah.

Just finished the first season and would say it was enjoyable. Not great, but good. The only thing I'm waiting on is for them to combine their powers and summon Captain Planet.

We dropped it after three episodes. Doesn´t look like it´s going to get any better, simply, their interweaving intensifies.

It actually turns out to be pretty good, but it takes up until around episode 7 before they start intentionally interacting with each other.

I loved it.

You boys get so sensy about male gay sex. Bet the girls sexing it up didn't make y'all uncomfortable.

I would TOTALLY be Lito and Hernando's beard.

I LOVED the scene where Riley's father was playing in the symphony and they all "saw" their own births. It really foreshadowed where they would go in life.

Riley - born to the sound of music - ends up a DJ and always has music around her.

Will - delivered by his cop father in the back of a cop car - ends up a cop.

Lito - born in a room full of people watching TV - ends up an actor.

Sun - born when her mother is alone visiting/honoring a grave - spends her life doing what she thinks she must do to honor her late mother.

Nomi - born detached from her mother via c-section - ends up estranged from her family because of her life choices.

Wolfgang - born via water birth without his father present - spends his free time swimming/relaxing in water and hates his father.

Capheus - born in secret in a dirt hut to a mother who conceived him with a father from an enemy tribe - ends up with only his mother and neither tribe and spends his life taking care of his mother (this one is the weakest).

Kala - born in with Ganesha looking over her birth - lives her life with guidance from Ganesha and a strong foundation of faith.

I couldn't get enough of the Four Non Blondes sing along.

I too am curious what "skills" Riley brings to the cluster. I think she will end up as "the mother" of the group like Angelica (Darryl Hannah) was. Maybe giving birth to a new cluster at some point.

And I can't believe y'all havent commented on the dildo scene. Toss..........squish.

Or the big mind orgy in episode 6. Also known as the "clusterfrick".

My two favorite exchange in the finale -

Will: "shite. Four guards."
Sun: "Is that all?"

Will: "Do I know you?"
Lito: "We had sex."
Will: "Eh... Oh... It... that was ..."
Lito: "... very special."
Will: "Whoa, hey... um..."
Nomi: "We're on a clock here, fellas!"

Great show! Worthy of the time spent watching.

When US TV is drown in clones of other shows, this shines above the crap forced on us.

I have disagreements on characters, but do not let this stop you from watching a truly enjoyable show.

The only let down of the show was, as posted above the drug part in the final episode near the very end, the ending should have been stronger.

That was an absolutely amazing scene. The way that they strung that whole sequence together was extremely well done, and the words of the song fit so perfectly. It may have been my favorite scene of the whole season.

The 2 gay characters are my disagreement with the show, if you can get over those 2 the show is great.

I don't have a problem with the LGBT content but it gets so heavy handed at times that it takes away from the story.

Heavy handed could be putting it lightly. It's even force fed into the intro sequence. It almost caused me to give up on the so early on. But like as already been said, if you can put that to the side, it is a pretty cool show.
