Havnt seen this movie in over a decade. it really hits you right in the gut to watch it all unfold a bit at a time... Scary to think this will probably happen again one day as the saying goes, "history repeats itself!".

I break down crying every time Schindler does. A profoundingly powerful movie.

One of the hardest movies to watch the first time, much less a second or third.

Son Of Saul covers the same time period, and is pretty much same on the pain level. There's real art work in the way it's filmed.

Watch "Come and See"

it is about a Russia boy during the war and the 101st Police battalion during a raid on a Russian village.

Watched a movie today where the allies were liberating bergen belsen and the Germans were having drinks and laughing it up during the liberation.

Truly an enemy you can hate.

I watched Schindler's List for the first time two years ago. It's a real shame that I hadn't seen it prior...

The film left me numb and made me immediately seek out as many books and films as I could find about the subject.

Ultimately, it sparked me to add a weekend onto my last work trip to Europe and going over to Krakow, Poland to both visit the factory site (now an extremely well done museum) and pay my respects at Auschwitz.

If you find yourself in Europe, take a day or two to go to Krakow. A one-way flight was less than $30 from London and the American Dollar gets you very far in Poland.

Some very good films about the subject already mentioned. I'll add Pianist as one that is very moving as well.

"Naked among Wolves" is also available on Netflix right now. I thought it was an interesting watch of another story during that time.
