Saw Kong: Skull Island tonight

Went to a pre screening for it and it was as good as I thought it would be. The cast was awesome(really liked John C. Reilly's character).
I recommend it. Anybody else watched it yet? I saw it at AMC so I figured other AMC's are showing a pre screening for it.

I liked it better than Godzilla but both are good. This movie is set at the end of the Vietnam war but their is one scene where I think they were hinting at there being another monster(Godzilla?) out there.

They're in the same universe so I'm sure they'll fight at some point. I want to see Ghidorah first though.

It's inevitable, I'd think, that kong and Godzilla will meet, fight, then become allies against some other monster.
Kong looks badass here but still way smaller than Godzilla. Might need to depower Godzilla a little bit. He was the size of a skyscraper in the last movie.

The commercials don't do Kong justice. He's pretty big in this movie.

I was thinking they had made him bigger in this movie because of one scene in the preview where it looked like he was towering over the forest and was blocking out the sun behind him.

It's being shot. John Boyega has been seen in a couple of photos from the set. No Del Toro, Charlie Hunnam or Idris Elba though. Boyega and Scott Eastwood are starring.

He's much bigger than the Peter Jackson version. I think he's almost the same size of Godzilla. I don't think they need to alter either of them.
