Never seen the movie, but the book is incredible. One of my favorites.

the movie is the first time I can remember being really scared as a child while watching television. It literally scared the shite out of me! I don't know how it holds up now, but when it came out, it was the real deal.

so far it's really good. I'm tempted to keep listening, but I told my husband I'd wait for us to head back to BR for Easter.

SPOILERS

so far it's just introducing the characters. Ben just went over to Susan's house to meet her parents. Told her about going to the (forget the name) House when he was a kid. And the guy (again, forget name) went to the realtor to buy the building and House.

I'm thinking the 79 was better than the other one- 04 I think. I think the 04 was made for Sci-Fi. I'll know by tonight

Starsky or Hutch was in that one. Pretty good flick. Better than the new one. (blond haired one)

Hutch-David Soul.

The novel is a classic King read. I'm fortunate enough to have a 1st edition hardcover copy.
