Nope, he’s just mediocre as hell. There’s actually some solid black actors out there too, but they keep trying to push this guy on everyone. I don’t get it.

Agreed. Denzel proved that color doesn't matter, he's arguably the most charismatic actor to ever appear on screen. For some reason Hollywood is trying to convince everybody that Michael B. Jordan is a new A lister along with somebody like Timothy Chalamet. If these are the new A listers then I guess I've aged out of movies and TV. They're about as exciting as wet cardboard

Chalamet appeals to young girls and the gays making him a popular actor in Hollywood currently. I don't get Michael B. Jordan's popularity, the dude is bland bath water. Black chicks don't even like the dude.
