Picked up the Target version on Wednesday. My wife was sweet enough to grab it for me Tuesday while she was there but she didn't realize there was a store-exclusive version with an extra disc, and brought home the vanilla retail package.

Picked it up a few days ago, already watched it three times. It's really getting me pumped for Episode 8. Anyone else snagged it yet?
Three times?? What are you? 8 years old? This movie is a terrible money grab.
Remove the last 3 minutes with Vader and tell me the most memorable scenes involving humans.

There are plenty -
Scarif battle scene
Vader and Krennic (choke move)
Loved seeing the AT-ATs or AT-ACT (had to look that up) walkers on the beach
Chirrut and Baze were great additions

So a battle scene and more shoe-horned Vader? Nothing memorable revolving any of the main characters?
You're proving my point. It's a money grab driven by fan service, not story telling using memorable characters.

Nope. It was a very mediocre movie.

Beginning: Mama Erso - You'll never win
Middle: Papa Erso - You'll never win
End: Jyn Erso - You've lost.

Might be a stupid question.
Is BluRay better quality than streaming from Amazon Prime?
Not a stupid question, but yes, it should be better quality, even if your internet is crazy fast and you can stream at the highest bitrate they offer (Rogue One is only in HD and not in a higher format as far as I can tell on Amazon).
The bigger difference will be with sound. If you have a HT system that decodes DTS-HD you'll get a decent upgrade on sound over what streams through Amazon.
Whether it's a big enough jump for you, me or anyone else to notice depends on a lot of things, but mostly you and the equipment you're watching on. I prefer the discs but completely get the convenience factor of not having to mess with a disc for what's probably not a huge difference.
ps---this applies to pretty much any movie out there on blu-ray vs. Amazon or any other streaming service, not just Rogue One.

Sent the SO to buy it last Tuesday while I was at work. Watched it twice so far.
I like it more than VII, but I just have a feeling that VIII will be better than both of them.
