Lucas McCain's "Kill A Bunch Of People To Show How Non-Violent You Are" philosophy would later be adapted by Kwai Chang Caine.

Back in the 80s, when Jay Leno was still occasionally funny, he did a bit about the show: "Lucas McCain -- this man is a serious psychopath..."

Chuck Connors would whoop the shite out of Chuck Norris and Norris would thank him for it.

Rifleman is the best. Anybody remember watching it on Sunday mornings on Channel 2 about 25 years ago?

I remember in the mid to late 80s Pat Robertson's CBN would show great westerns on weekend afternoons. Wagon Train, Rawhide, and the absolutely coolest show in the history of television:

Connors was the first player to break a backboard in the NBA. Plus he played MLB and was signed but never played for the Chicago Bears.

The guy was an animal.

I liked him in Branded too. And as the raping slave owner in Roots.
