Ok, made it to the 2nd episode & stopped watching when

Chick goes off to follow her Uncle (bad enough)
then
Leaves the guy alive with his bow who wants to catch them.

I had to turn it off. Dammit I hate when people do things in fiction that no one would really do.

Should I give it another chance or will I continue to be disappointed?

I've seen all the episodes to date (which only goes to prove that there isn't enough worth watching these days).

For me, the premise sounded good but isn't getting delivered. The main girl is annoying and an over-actor. And the writers have intro'd a number of plot surprises that lead me to think they're gonna have to get more outrageous over time to keep things interesting.

I doubt it gets picked up for a second season.

if you can get past hating the main girl, you can enjoy it

she is awful...both as an actress and as a character

The shows okay but not great. I laughed my arse off when Miles plan was to tunnel out of the building to avoid the militia his plan would have taken weeks at best.

Yeah that was beyond absurd.

Not weeks about 6 hours. All you have to do is get up to level ground, nit dig a tunnel 100 ft + long.

The plan was the best they could do, other than break out at night into gun fire.

With the tunnel to the outside wall allows you to try to slip by the guard, and not in mass.

Looked to me like they were trying to capitalize on The Hunger Games. Girl with a bow and arrow in a post-apocalyptic world.

Yep and it turned out to be boring as shite. If the wife keeps watching, I'll try to keep up but as of now, I'm switching over the other show with a lead that has a bow and arrow.

I've watched every episode and I keep asking myself why...
Main character chick is hot but such a bad actress it's hard to watch...
The similarities to Lost in style are starting to aggravate me too...

I have watched it but it is pretty horrible. I'm probably going to stop. I wanted Lost, I got NBC.

Yes. When they were going through the British chicks entire backstory, I was just ready for her to die already to move on with the story, because I cared for none of it.

I thought the whole tornado scene just did not fit, especially when the boy was all "I know you feel the pressure change." You can't feel a pressure change as if humans somehow evolved to feel when a tornado is about to drop. It felt like a cheap SciFi channel film.

Hmmm, my joints/arthritis can feel when a storm is coming. I've only been involved in 2 Tornado's and pretty much slept though both so I couldn't tell you how I felt just prior to them touching down

To me it seems like somebody had a cool idea for a post apocalypse show where there's a big mystery about how power is gone. The money guys got a hold of it an said "you know what's selling now, annoying chicks with bows an arrows. Make that your lead and you've got a show."

Perfect quote. I'm putting that on their FB page just for the hell of it. I keep waiting for Sharktopus from the SyFy channel to pop out.

ETA: Somebody posted this on their page:

if all electricity stopped how are humans still alive. our heart and muscles need electricity to contract and expand?

I thought it was funny point.

Even the music is recycled from LOST…just don’t know how much longer I can give it.

Just wasted my time watching the episode. Predictable and once again, dumb. I think I'm done.
