GOTG inspired me to watch some more comic book/superhero movies. I'll list some I've already seen.

The captain Americas
All the batmans
Superman
Iron man
Hulk

What's a good one I can watch tonight

Dredd (not the Stallone version)
Watchmen
X-men: First Class

The rest of the ones I have are animated.

I'd say watch Dredd first. It's just a fun ride.

I've seen both Dredd and Watchmen, both were good. Especially Watchmen

I haven't seen any of the Xmens. What's a good order to watch these?

Watchmen is pretty good. It's long and slow at times, but it's a good watch.

X-Men 1 is alright and 2 is really good. Under no circumstances should you watch X-Men 3.

First Class is really good.

I wouldn't call Watchmen a superhero movie. Its more about vigilantes. Great movie though.

In that vein V For Vendetta fits the bill and is the better film.

Agree with Watchmen. Alot of folks beat up on it, but it was a cool movie. One of the best opening scenes in a movie.

Also agree with First Class. Bad mixed feelings when I first saw it, but it grew on me.

Forgot about V! Really great movie! I'd say Sin City also, but that's not super hero based.

If you don't mind animation, DC has put out a bunch of really good superhero movies. They aren't kiddy if that's your holdup.

Agreed! For some reason I always go back to Justice League; New Frontier. Excellent movie!

Along with many many more.

I guess you could go with Xmen to Xmen 2 to Xmen 1st Class. Like as has already been posted, do yourself a favor and don't even bother with Xmen 3.

Hell, just about every DC animated movie is really good. Besides New Frontier and War, here are some others that are really good:

Justice league: Doom
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox
Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns - Part 1 & Part 2
Just about all of the solo Batman and Superman animated movies.

Heck, they are all good. I haven't seen the Wonder Woman or the Green Lantern movies, so I don't know how good those are. But the rest of them are awesome.

The X-Mens are probably your next best bet.

Blade 1 and 2 are decent.
Spider-Man 1 and 2 are both good, Spider-Man 2 being great (NOT The Amazing Spider-Man movies.)

Hellboy and Hellboy: The Golden Army are fantastic.

John Carter, while not an actual comic book, is the genesis of most comic books. Solid movie which many REALLY enjoy, but I understand the complaints about it. I loved it though.

Daredevil, THE DIRECTOR'S CUT, is underrated. Yes it isn't a great movie, but the director's cut of that film is an ACTUAL director's cut. It just isn't extended, it's almost a completely different film and worth the time to watch it. I'd probably put it at a level with Blade 2/Spider-Man 1. I repeat, ONLY the director's cut. The theatrical cut is akin to Green Lantern, just not good.
