I frickING LOVE THIS.
This is how I categorize my movies.
Most movies I just judge off artistic quality (or whatever pleases me aesthetically) but then I have other movies that I just fricking love for no explainable reason.

The Rock is not a bad movie at all people here are just overzealous in their Nic Cage & Michael Bay hate.

I know I will catch hell for this, but it's really a bad movie. All of the adults are to stupid to avoid capture but a bunch of 16 year olds know how to kick some commie arse. I still watch it anytime I catch it on AMC.

Nonsensical doesn't necessarily mean bad. And it also seems a lot of people are confusing average movies in this thread with outright bad.

I still don't understand how the rest of the world can consider it a bad movie. It's funny and slick as hell. Other than the scene where he falls through the canopy outside a building and somehow lands inside the building, it never insults your intelligence.

Two all time are Road House and Tremors. When I see these on TV I stomp what ever I am doing and watch. I can't help myself. I do the same with The Replacements but I think this movie is of a little better quality. I like Waterworld, Hopper was awesome as usual. I also think Strange Brew is a great movie and have the DVD.
