Question, who is the woman screwing in the hotel that scratched Rays face. Who was that and what's the story?

They are still setting up Ray's job. Kind of outlining the types of things he does for Ezra. I think it was just a way of showing us what Ray is all about, how he works, the types of things he's willing to do. There is also a back story between Ezra and the other attorney and Ray's dad. It seems that Ray's dad has something that can jeopardize all of their future's, and the series is just beginning to lay out that back story.

Also, this show is awesome. I'm actually excited that showtime has picked this after ending Dexter. It seems like it's going to be a nice transition into a new series.

+1. This is the first show since Homeland that I am excited about. Homeland has languished a little in the last since though. I could see this new series lasting for 5+ seasons.

Voight has been amazing in my opinion as well.

Yep he has. Definitely playing up his role of a creepy ex convict dad.

Can't wait to see where the story goes and what Mickey has done to Ray and how the FBI story with his dad unfolds.

One of my favorite shows in a while.

Man this show just gets better and better to me each week. And I'm actually starting to like a lot more characters than just Ray and Terry. Bunchy and the Black brother going back and forth is pretty hilarious. I like that dynamic they have for some reason. To me, the hardest thing for writers and actors to do in shows like this (and Sopranos) is to make you genuinely like or at least give a shite about some of these characters, even though a lot of times they just seem like scum.... Well I'm starting to like the characters so they got me.

Dammit I knew I should have watched last night but I opted for the Naked and Afraid in the La swamp.

Can't wait to get home tonight.

Bunchy

He is becoming one of my favorite characters on the show, except when the daddy issues come out. Him riding his new bike like a badass makes me laugh every time.

You thought he had played everyone after he told Ray what he had done...but then we find it was just a stump. He is definitely losing it.

I think he is too..for now.

Marvin's mom got clipped

Not sure if anything will come of this

Terry gets laid and gets his heartbroken

That was pretty sad, but you could see it coming after the conversation they had after their sex scene

Crazy girl shows up again

Really would like to see her naked

Ray's son gets his inner Irish on
Ray's daughter gets jungle fever

Have no interest in either of these story lines

like a boss

clearly they are making the point that bunchy's mental development ended the day he was molested by the priest

which is a little weird to me. It is like he lived another 30 years and didnt learn anything about being an adult.

the Frank Whaley character is about to enter a world of hurt

some of the best lines of the series thus far
"I am not the kind of guy you fire"

"you like what you like"

Agreed, I don't see this ending well for him at all.
