The finale was fantastic. Hopefully they will conclude the series next season.

Yeh I think next season needs to be the end of the road for this show. Maybe spend the season with Ray tying up all the loose ends he has in LA and then moving back to Boston.

ETA: My favorite characters are Ray, Terry, Mick, Avi, and Lena. When Abby cusses I just cringe, not that I'm against a woman cussing, but the way it comes out of her mouth just sounds awful. His kids are still unbearable and Conner has gotten worse.

Well Terry, Bunchy, and Daryll have done their fair share of crime in past episodes. Abby had her moments as well, but she always did it for her family.
They just went hardcore like never scene before in that episode.. so I agree with you there.

The Russian thing is not over. Im not sure what next season will be about but that part is not over.
I would not doubt that this coming season will be the finale. It has been a great ride. Looking forward to seeing where they go with it

This season was just dark and "joyless", until the finale when he went Michael Corleone and settled all family business. Mickey was always comic relief, but he was just sad this season. I've stuck with the show loyally and enjoyed most of it, but this season wasn't good.
They missed a real opportunity with this show... the parts over the seasons where he fixed celebrities screw ups were always the most fun parts of the show. Wish they'd have spent more time on that stuff.

Agree. The first and second season was great following those stories. Nothing like a movie star with a tranny obsession.

I love this show, and have binged it all in the past 2 months. i can say that i did enjoy this season, but it was the weakest of the 4 IMO and a little over the top.
I thought the writing was sub-par this year and the story line with the boxer and sister was weak. not to mention him escaping ANOTHER foreign mafia.
I love Avi and Lena and of course Ray and Mickey. Terry is amazing too.
they have done a good job in the past of wrapping up a season with the finale and not carrying it over. i really wish they would have extended the Katie Holmes/Ian McShane plot but oh well.

This show could have been Winston Wolf meets Tony Soprano, but they took it in a different direction.
I'll watch til it ends, but hope they make better choices next season. The Abby cancer thing and just seemed like they needed filler for her character. The Hank Azaria stuff and the post partum depression stuff was dumb.
