From 1 to patrician hedonist.

I'd say I'm somewhere between Hitchcock's ball sweat and possibly rewatching Bridesmaids in the next 10 years.

I have a better taste in movies/TV than the rest of you, that much is for certain.

Yet you haven't seen Parks and Rec and opted to start New Girl instead...

You're not gonna let taht go, are you?

FWIW, I will 100% watch P&R. Mainly just didn't feel like tackling 125 episodes quite yet.

And also FWIW, I really like New Girl a lot.

New Girl
The first and second season are bearable. Then it gets bad.

Nobody here appreciates the cinema of Bela Tarr. Therefore my tastes are superior.

Satantango is my favorite of his. Would put it in my top 50 all time probably. Werckmeister Harmonies and The Turin Horse are both very good as well, but they don't touch what was created in Satantango.

:^)

Game, set, matched.

Sometimes I think you guys just don't understand filmmaking like I do, but I try not to give anyone a hard time, because everyone is allowed to have their own opinion and preferences.

Oh? Well I would like to know which director you would consider the master/godfather of "still-life" cinema?

I'd love to get your "opinion" on this...

I'm very lowbrow. My favorite movies are 300, Borat, and Old School. I'm surprised I'm even allowed to post here.

I think I have pretty decent taste but my weakness is comic book movies and zombies. Put one of those in your movie and I can no longer be objective. It's automatically awesome.

It only happened this week, it's still fresh in my mind

I watched the first 2 seasons and liked it quite a bit. Then for whatever reason it just kinda fizzled and I lost interest. I have no idea how good it is currently.

I guess it's really tough to have an opinion when you can't just google the answer
