Punisher finally getting the just love he deserves:
Netflix Developing Punisher Series
With how great Daredevil and Jessica Jones were, I have high hopes one of my favorite Marvel characters finally gets something good after those awful movies

What? That is crazy talk. The bad guy in Jessica Jones was awesome. He was way better than the guy on Daredevil.

Child's play compared to the sick and depraved shite Kilgrave made people do. I mean shite he made his own mother stab herself to death. Kilgrave is the vilest and most sinister villain introduced in the marvel universe.

This is the perfect format for a puniaher story. The movies always faced a challenge of compacting a lot of emotion into too little running time.

That and he is probably the most unrealistic hero in comics. I say that and he is by far my favorite character. A blood thirsty vigilante that kills by the dozens is just so hard to capture without encorporating some kind of super human abilities. Its sad to say, but the only show to kind of come close to this was the first Kick arse movie. Otherwise, it just comes off fake. It takes a special actor too. I thought Jane was alright, but even he didn't really pull it off..
Which story arch would they use? I'm really hoping they wouldn't try the Jigsaw one again. Would it be an origin piece?

Ok, I liked DD more than JJ, but it wasn't because the enemy was better in DD. Killgraves was the biggest high point of JJ. (Before anyone ask, JJ was still insanely good TV, better than almost anything on regular broadcast, just not as good as DD)

Reboot Flash Gordon & The Punisher getting a Netflix series? Santa got my letters.
I hope they spin it off from DD and don't feel the need to retell his origin.
There is a dozen of great Punisher storylines i would want to see, but they need Tom Jane on this project or at least model it after Dirty Laundry. If they can do that, the show will blow everything else out of the water.

Since Jon Bernthal is playing Frank Castle/The Punisher on this new season of "Daredevil", I'm guessing he'll be playing him in the spinoff series too.

Was already looking forward to Bernthal playing Punisher, can't wait for his own series. They are also making a Luke Cage and Iron Fist series. Culminating with the Defenders series.

Tennent has been the best villain I've seen in quite a while. His character is so terrifying, because he doesn't even know he's evil, he's just so used to ordering people around he knows he's above them. It's kind of like a lesser Dr. Manhattan
