I am bumping this because I feel like it is probably gonna get overshadowed this weekend with everything out. This miniseries is great. The best since the original Planet Earth.

I'm enjoying it. Not quite done yet, as it is Memorial Day Weekend.
I was right. They did make a major goof on Quetzalcoatlus and placing it in S. Africa. Not even close. It was a N. American critter from 68 million years ago. Even taking account of continental drift, there's no way I can tell that's correct. Still have to dive into the Prehistoric Planet details and see where they're getting this info. There was another large pterosaur, but not by the same name.
And aside from the array of polar dinos in the deep of winter marching around... that seems pretty sus too.
But I'm enjoying the program. Beautifully done. And props again for getting David Attenborough to narrate. Pure gold.

Ok I’m not the only one. The whole time I’m watching it, I’m thinking “This is about 95% speculation.”
The series is great, but they present it just like Planet Earth where they have real footage of the behavior.
I get that they can surmise the shape and size of animals, whether they could swim, etc. But some of their distinct characteristics and behavior have to be legit guesses.
I might go to the website later and see if they shed any light on it.
Yeah, this is mostly science fan fiction.

David Attenborough, GOAT narrator.
My house watches just about everything he narrates. Definitely the GOAT.
For those that like these types of nature docs, check out "The Flood" on Disney+. It focuses on the Okavango Delta and is narrated by Angela Bassett who does amazing.
