Also, the mummy series with brendan fraser was fun to watch. have him go against dracula , wolfman, demons.

There was an Indiana Jones and The Fate of Atlantis comic/video game.
I would like to see more of a "privatized" villain like Donovan from Last Crusade without Nazis or Cummunist influence.
Because of the timeframe, and Shia screwing everything up, I'm not certain where they go. Marion's still in the picture, and that's a bit of a drag as well. It's like marrying off Bond...too many impediments.
The world of the 60s is a much smaller place than the 30s. I guess drop him in Florida looking for the Fountain of Youth.

The Last Crusade was the perfect ending to that franchise, riding off into the sunset.

If anyone has ever read any Steve Berry books, I've always thought a few of those would make good plots for Indiana Jones movies

You just reminded me of that show they did, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. I remember really liking as a kid. I doubt it holds up.
