I liked how season 4 was called "the gas leak year".

Here is an article from IGN that talks about how they did the Pierce cameo, interesting read for those wondering.

the glover self reference was great

"zach braff was only on scrubs season 9 for 6 episodes"

"that son of a bitch after all scrubs did for him!"

they pointed out that Braff voiced over the ending to the episodes. I hope Donald does that this season

I noticed a few of the similarities. Mainly Jeff trying to dismantle the group, but that's pretty cool.

Just watched both episodes. My favorite part is the Glengarry Glenn Ross ABC reference. The "you just described slavery" part was awesome as well. Those two episodes were definitely better than any S4 episode.

I just wonder what they'll do with Abed after he leaves. and I hate how they just gave up on Troy being a natural repair man.

Agreed. That was a fantastic storyline with tons of potential, and John Goodman was great. No idea why they abandoned that...and also killed off Goodman's character (to not even really leave it open for the future).

I just about crapped on myself. Possibly my favorite part (other than Alison Brie looking better than ever). I love how they played right into his persona as Mike Ermantraudt (would have been too difficult not to, IMO). An absolute grand slam for the show.

I did think they went to that well a little too much, but I understand why they did it though.

My favorite line came from Brita.

"That's like me blaming an owl for being so bad at analogies."
