Perfect films that had a perfect sequel.

Has to include original film and the immediate sequel afterward (if not, Road Warrior and Fury Road would've been on this list). In no particular order:
-The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day
-Alien and Aliens
-Star Wars A New Hope and Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back
-Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049
-Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead
-Scream and Scream 2
That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Considering I fell asleep during Goodfellas once, then tried to rewatch it and couldn't get into it. I've met people that aren't into Star Wars which is probably the most popular series of all time. Does it trigger you or something?
