After the cliff it fell off in season 1, I can't even touch 2. Honestly I think it's so bad that even if I'm starving for something to watch I'll watch reruns of pawn stars instead

I liked it, only part that annoys me is Jason Biggs.

I dug it. It's a lot like like Weeds in that the main character is a pretty white woman who is a horrible human being. The other characters around her are good and the acting is better than Weeds.

The husband and wife are both pussy pieces of shite. They're perfect for each other. The show is kinda funny, but I really don't like the characters who are based (loosely?) on real people.

Eta: I like the other characters, especially Crazy Eyes of course

You'll hate Piper Chapman so much by the end of it. Red is the only character I like.

another bold statement! damn, you've got balls of steel to say that!!

it's not trying to be anything like house of cards. quit trying to compare them. they are nothing alike.

I don't think anyone is trying to say the shows are similar by any means. The comparison is simply made because both are original Netflix shows - and House of Cards is by far the superior show. Just like in the early days someone may compare Entourage to Sopranos - not similar, but people are going to draw comparisons to two shows put out by HBO. When a particular entity - especially one that is new to original programming - puts out two shows in their first season, the superior effort will be recognized.

Started to watch it solely on all the love it was getting. Wasn't much of a fan a few episodes in, but I sucked it up. 8 or 9 episodes in I thought it sucked even worse and stopped watching. Thought it was stupid as shite. Great decision on my part I think.

I really liked it, but you really have to be predisposed to liking a feminist tract. Also, my wife is addicted to prison shows, and this is an improvement over the millionth showing of Lockup.

I finished season one last night and this nails it. She pisses me off a ton.

I didn't like the ending at all if it goes the way I think it is.

SPOILERS AHEAD...

I assume she doesn't beat that chick to death but stops and realizes she's wrong for doing it, and that she is truly fricked up. Hence Alex and Larry's conversation that she's nuts and has major issues. Likely prison "breaks her" and she sees A LOT more time to reflect on herself and why she is the way she is based on her crime and Healey fricking her over.
