Old TV shows you'd like to see remade today?

I recently started watching Sliders on Netflix, as it was a show I used to watch with my dad on Sci-Fi when I was growing up. Though I really enjoyed the show when I was younger, I missed a bunch of the plot holes and such.
While watching the show on Netflix, I couldn't help but think that the show, which ran from 1995-2000, would still be interesting and fun to watch today if it was re-made with some stronger writing, better special effects and more modern twists, even if it was a whole new cast and characters just based on the same general concept of "sliding" to parallel dimensions.
Any shows y'all think could benefit from a remake? I'm sure some classic shows would be damaged by a remake, as with some movies, but there's gotta be other old shows that would be a lot of fun with today's writing and technology.

Nearly 14 years off air isn't old enough for you?
And I guess I meant "shows no longer being made" rather than "old."
And with the example of "Sliders," it's somewhat surprising how bad the special effects look compared to today's shows.

I use to see this on Nick at Night back in the 80s and it was one of the greatest shows I've ever seen. Really any show with an all monkey cast would be great.

Green Acres . . . with a hot "farmer's daughter" instead of the wife.

Okay, thanks.

When 50 years old you will reach, look as good, you will not.
(And Eddie was 60)

Remember when they made that remake of BSG from that cheesy one they did back in the seventies?
It was awesome.
It was awesome.

No. I like the one from the 1970s - memories of my youth.
They remade that? How?

Doubtful - they probably made it all dark and gritty - took the fun right out of it.

I'm just messing with you cause I know you like the old one and are the only person in the world who doesn't like the new one.
