Every time Rick shows up in someone's town, people start dying..dude has been a cancer to every community he's interacted with in some way or form.

They'll probably turn over all the other community's weapons to Negan.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I like the Governor and his storylines much better than Negan.

Maybe I should give it more time though, things could improve.

I love Negan. Best character the show has seen to date. This whole half season seems to be the anti-Falcons half season as it's about "rising up" but I'm not nearly ready to see Negan get his comeuppance yet.

They sure are going really heavy on the "Rick fights back" theme in the marketing and promos. Their feedback or market research must have show people were wearying of the doom and gloom, protagonists get the hell beat out of them storyline.

It'd be funny if they went red wedding ala game of thrones and all the main cast was killed by one of negans second tier guys.
Michonne Daryl Rick Maggie Jesus Carol all dead.

Can anyone explain the point of starting a season, then having a two or three month break, just to do the second half of the season?? Why not just have four 'seasons' in a year

TWD fans are going to watch regardless, they don't have to divide the season up into two separate entities just to build drama

I have to go watch the last two episodes to remember wtf happened at the end of last 1/2 season

This show has gotten straight up terrible. They need an end game.

Very unpopular. Though admittedly, I have a hard time separating just how bad the Governor's character and acting was from his actual storyline.

Negan was epic, just fantastic. And I, and probably many others, just got tired of him pretty quickly. I think we need to see him face some sort adversity pretty quickly, even if he bounces back from it.

He's been very one note, if that makes sense. It's the same shtick each episode. I want to see him in different situations, under adversity like you said. Just more depth to his character would be nice.

With the Governor, we saw him performing different actions and with various degrees and incarnations of psychosis.

Josh mcmullet was on radio this morning. He said the rumors about them toning down the violence in the show are completely false.

I've always assumed it was so they don't have to compete with the NFL playoffs. Can anybody confirm that?

I'd say no because Fear the Walking dead did the same mid season break last year for season 2
