So the king is equal with Floki but not with Ragnar? Considering Floki overheard, I doubt he turns on Ragnar. But who knows in this crazy mixed up Viking world.

According to legend the Northumbrian king throws Ragnar in a pit full of vipers to kill him.

Show hasnt exactly followed the myths though.

I can't figure out if Ragnar has Loki playing Horik or if Loki is really disheartened with Ragnar. Ragnar is not going to be happy with Horik for setting that trap.

Truth.

WTF? Only 2 more episodes? Damn this season went by quickly. Season 2 has been spectacular minus the first episode. But the each one since has more than made up for it.

Oh...and Lagertha

Hey Lagertha, I can only think of important shite to talk to you about while you're taking a bath. Can I come in?

Ragnar is going to let the King eat a big shite pie next week. He told him to wait, but he just wouldn't listen.

Seriously, the King working with Ragnar is a dragging Ragnar down. I can't wait to see him get his for screwing Rollo's woman, shafting Ragnar by making him break his word, which got his land invaded, and now trying to get between him and Loki, then setting an ambush for the party that was sent to conduct peace talks. Dude is going down next week.

They did show King Aelle's snake pit a while back, whether Ragnar suffers that fate is yet to be foreshadowed, you'd think he would go out in a blaze of glory rather than being captured by that fat frick.

Truthfully they could run the show for years to come based on the legends of his sons alone.

Which makes me wonder how long they will continue the series. Ragnar has become the main character (obviously). I know they've renewed the show for a third season but I'm not sure how quickly they will progress through Ragnars story and whether they continue after his legacy. But you are correct, technically and based on the history, this series could go on for a long time if they chose to follow the entire saga.

The previews made it look like Lagertha goes down in battle. If she dies I will cut a bitch.

That would be pretty cool or do a series from the other point of view starting with Aethelbald of Wessex and ending at the end of the reign of King Alfred.

Ragnar might die end of this season IMO. Then maybe next season jumps ahead 15-20 years where all his sons are grown and they can wreck shite.

Interdasting for sure. You make a valid argument. But I think if they do so, it will be at the end of the third season and pick up where you propose.

It's possible, they would have to draw out the invastion of England a bit to make his death last until the end of season 3.
