I kinda thought of it similarly. Bacteria/virus from bites could spread something like botulism toxins for rapid infection type death consequences.
Everyone already has the dormant viral/bacterial infection activated by death, but bites or infection via bodily fluids spread or cause a fatal illness.

That's the way I was looking at it. The bacteria from the bite causing death, not the change. Should've made that clear.

Morgan all over previews for Fear the Walking Dead.
Assuming both shows are going to have different length time jumps, they're going to really have to speed up his yet again freaking the frick out this season, and introduce a way for him to get to apparently Texas.
Right now, the helicopter is the only way half introduced to get him out of there, but it won't get him to Texas.
I could see them doing an off season online short or something of Morgan having a wandering in the wilderness journey west.
