This is a valid point and even a few weeks removed from that episode, I still think the show runners made a mistake with this fake out but it is what it is.
The "integrity" of the show may take a small hit but ultimately, I don't think this is going to be a big deal.

I agree with the first part, you have to have some rules or then it's just silly.
This is the real question. Unless they have a dam good explanation I think it takes a big hit. He is not a character that can't be killed off. Rick is the only one that should be untouchable. Killing people off is what started this show off and drove it.

Meh. Show is just so popular now. I would still watch and enjoy, but if Glenn comes out of this alive, I would feel kind of played. Everyone should be fair game in this setting.
