One thing I don't understand about Alexandria:

Why are the walls braced on the outside?

My guess. Wasn't room for significant bracing on the inside in regards to how close the houses are to it. Additionally the original threat was only thought to be the dead, so positioning of braces wasn't a factor there

Deanna isn't Kate Mulgrew. This chick used to be a defense attorney on Law & Order a number of times though.

Yeah, but Captain Janeway is the first thing I thought of when I saw her. Also, when she asked Rick to be the constable, my first thought was Odo from DS9. And Deanna is the name of the counselor on TNG...

AND this episode is called "Remember", which is what Spock said to McCoy before he suicide-saved the Enterprise in The Wrath of Khan.

The Walking Dead-to-Star Trek conversion is complete. :nerdgif:

I'm surprised no one has noticed that the blonde chick is the hot maid ghost from the first season of American Horror Story.

Anybody else think whenever shite goes down and the group leaves that this teenage girl that Carl has the hots for comes with them and becomes the "New Beth"?

You mean one of the daughters from too many cooks?

Yes I agree I think she has a role moving forward.

I think this is the most logical answer. They probably felt like they were giving themselves more room inside the fence and the walkers wouldn't be able to tear down the braces.

We've already seen how incredibly naïve these people are. Most of them have never actually had to deal with the zombie apocalypse.

That still doesnt make any sense. A mass of walkers pushing against the brace side of wall renders the braces pointless.

As long as they were anchored in concrete and bolted to the wall then they should be okay.
