So about how long are we supposed to believe has passed since all of this started? I would think about 2-3 years?

If that's even remotely true then they have a lot of explaining to do with Carl and Rick's aging.

That's what I didn't understand. I mean the baby looks to be 1 or so but Carl looks to have aged 3 years.

Rick's aging = stress, while Carl could be just one of those young guys who mature at an early age...like those 5th and 6th graders that are like 6 ft and are getting scholarship offers from LSU and Alabama

He's an adolescent actor. Shows have this problem all the time

And the "I'm still smarter than you" line probably wasn't the smartest thing to say to ole Abe

Maybe I'm just a glass half full kinda person but I thought Eugene was legit. I never expected them to make it to DC though.

How do you watch a show that you don't like the main character

A few questions about last 2, which I watched both of last night:

1. Abe was plowing Rosita, correct?
2. Going back to last episode, Beth has to be deep shite right? How does she get out of that with Dawn?
3. How odd is it that they are so committed to this police officer routine? Have they every been outside or in the hospital the whole time? They seem very green.
4. I don't understand the connection of Daryl to the hospital. Yes, the black cars with crosses were the hospital but how would Daryl know to get there? He was only gone one right, right?

Pure speculation...Noah, the kid from the hospital said he was from Richmond and they had walls. Why would he have come to Atlanta? Perhaps if/when they reunite they will continue to head to that area in case DC and or Richmond does have an actual sanctuary?

Carol.

Agreed, it's very odd, but they seem to think that eventually help will come. They definitely do leave though, to round up indentured servants.

He and Carol saw one and followed it... yes presumably only gone one night.

Carol was brought in on a gurney in the final scene of the episode. Everyone assumes that she will somehow help get Beth out.

Some of them do leave to do supply runs...that's how they found Beth. But they are kind of fanatical in their mission to protect the hospital, waiting for help to arrive? I guess they want to hold on to what they can.

Last season Daryl saw a car with a white cross take off when he got separated from Beth and her bag was left in the street. This season when he and Carol saw another car with a white cross they followed it in their own newly acquired vehicle, I guess to the hospital. I can't remember how many days he & Carol were gone before he shows back up at the church...I think at least 3 maybe.

I watched late at night and my kids were asleep in an adjoining room so I had a tough time discerning all the whispering without turning the surround sound up.

I couldn't get a great look to be sure it was here, but I figured as much.

So Daryl and carol were outside and the black car with cross drove by and daryl tried to follow by getting in the other car assuming it's beth, right? So we now know those black cars were the hospital. Ok. A few back, on one of the previews Daryl comes back to the church, presumably the same night he left. When asked about Carol, he turned and said "you can come out."

How would he go out, follow car all the way to Atlanta and then come back in such a short period of time? I'm not saying that's what happened, but what I'm piecing together.
