**Official** The Dark Knight Rises Review Thread (Spoiler Free)

Since I'm apparently the first, I'll get it started:
EPIC
I just got back from a special screening of it and it definitely surpassed my expectations. I remember seeing Batman Begins and thinking "this is a really good superhero movie". Then I saw The Dark Knight and thought "this is a great crime drama with superheros". Well I just got back and this is a spectacular war movie.
I kept seeing trailers and tv spots and something just seemed off about it. Despite the marketing departments best attempts, Christopher Nolan has crafted a terrific, emotionally satisfying end to this trilogy. He manages to incorporate the other two movies in ways that make it seem like this was his plan from the beginning. I highly suggest watching the first two before seeing this, mainly to fully appreciate the journey when the credits finally roll.
I'm sure that with time, just like with The Dark Knight, people will love to point out plot holes and inconsistencies. But for the time being, I'm happy to sit back and enjoy the fact that this trilogy ends on such a high note.

yea, rave at the mall of la.
most major theaters are doing it.
i paid $25 to see all 3
get there at 6 and they show them all back to back, with TDKR showing at midnight exactly, there is a 30 minute break between each movie so you can move around

I have a friend that also saw it and he recommends not seeing TDK. He watched it before seeing DKR and couldn't get over how weak Bane is compared to the joker He did say the movie was very good thou.

I didn't spoil anything I just gave my own interpretation of how I feel the final scene plays out based on what I have read. Most people will think because of the name OMG he is " " but its ambiguous and I like that.
