one of the best overall nights on idol in a very long time. the judges are getting out of control with their ovations tonight though.

The top 4 are so close for me that I'm not even sure how to rank them. My favorites are Kree and Candice, but I'm basing this on performance. I'm not comfy with Kree in 4th place, though.

I agree with Gris Gris...she seems to be the obvious choice here. The other 4 are just that much better.

The biggest irony of the night: Janelle singing that she's not a dumb blond. Well, maybe she's not, but that was a really dumb song choice. It wasn't musical, it wasn't enjoyable, and it was almost insulting to Dolly Parton's full repertoire that she would pick some throw-together song used to fill up a b-side.
Janelle should go home to perform at local hoedowns and fish camps. She just doesn't have it.
