Warning Spoiler:
I've DVR'ed and watched every episode so far. I have particular interest in Manhattan, having visited Los Alamos numerous times to work at the national lab’s Neutron Science Center. I like the show but they are slowly losing me. The incessant, childish behavior of some of the characters has become borderline annoying. The history aspect is fascinating to me along with the competition between theoretical ideas for the gadget, but the latter has been all but forgotten in recent episodes.
Bringing in the Hartford site, B reactor is a fascinating side plot. So was the Niels Bohr episode (he visited on numerous occasions and was instrumental in solving certain critical technical issues). I hope there will be many more such side plots with similar historical importance.
Having an affair with the Native American maid was one of many clichés I could do without.
I will stick it out through season 1 hoping they finish strong. Not sure how many seasons they can drag out the show before having the Trinity site test and ending the war. Although that is only the beginning of the story of Los Alamos National Lab.

Watched the entire season. It finished strong I thought. Looking forward to next season.
The series is a very good one, with enough twists and turns to keep you watching, but you have to take it for what it is, a dramatization of an event in history, devoid of many details, and at times historically inaccurate. If that turns you off, stick to documentaries.
