I haven't watched it yet.

Also, that's something else I meant to address...a lot of times we can get sidetracked onto other TV shows and discussions (like Lost, Warehouse 13...or Ai discussed in Voice threads...shite like that). So let's not do that in this thread. I realize some comparisons will be made, but as long as they're pretty much non sequiturs and don't take away from Fringe, that shouldn't be a problem. But let's make sure Fringe is the first (and only) topic of discussion in here.

Also, BA, I thought the glyphs only spelled out small words..? Seems like an awful lot of commercial breaks to have to spell out "Observer." Or are there multiple glyphs per break or something like that? I can't remember..

In each episode during the commercial break there was a glyph:

It's funny you mention that because it looks like in the apple glyph there are babies instead of apple seeds. Am I on to something or just seeing shite?

what does the leaf glyph mean?

I don't know if you're onto anything, but the glyphs aren't always what they seem at first glance. A lot of them have hidden things inside of the picture (like the babies, for example).

I'll probably start on this tomorrow. I'm excited! I may watch 1 this afternoon before LSU game then one tomorrow and 1 wednesday.

I always found the glyphs interesting but I didn't notice any kind of pattern to them. They always intrigued me though. I am interested to hear some more explanation on what they mean and how they can be translated.

edit: I found a link to glyphs on Fringe wiki I am gonna read thru and I'll come back with any findings.

So, after reading some of this here is the decoder sequence:

Pretty cool stuff. Looks like there is a word in each episode that either references the current episode or the next one.

Just finished GOT.

I'm too stunned to watch any Fringe tonight. Need to cleanse the palate before diving in.

I'll be watching minimum 1 episode tonight, possibly all 3. Either way I am excited to start Fringe after work today!

Full breed and kicking arse.

I think we should have a hastag for any post that has an amazing Walter quote so we can search it. He has so many good quotes.

And Im using #WalterWisdom to mark all my Walter quotes.

Could go either way really. Seems like people thought that waiting out the week to start discussion was the best way because that way, we'd all go into next week with three episodes worth of discussion to get into, and then that would repeat the next week and so forth.

But that being said, I can't imagine that discussion/comments couldn't trickle in here and there. So maybe if you want to drop a comment or two, then that's cool, and we'll save the actual legitimate episode discussion for next week? I'm pretty indifferent on it.

Totally forgot how amazing of a character Walter really is. And I know he gets better once he is a little less crazy but still crazy.

I watched Episodes 1 and 2 last night. Was gonna watch 3 but decided I didn't want to watch all three on Tuesday and not talk about them for a week.

I saw him in both the first and second! I would have never noticed the first time thru but now it's really cool to see September in a random spot.

the job john noble does transforming form walter to walternate is ridiculous. it's a complete 180 between characters. I still will never get over him not winning an emmy for this
