Hector must pay really well.

I can't see it turning out that Kim was secretly in the bathroom during all of Saul's scenes in BB (why wasn't she with Saul at the end when he was with the vacuum guy?) but I do think she's still alive in the present day.

Obviously things are going to take a turn for the very bad but I wouldn't mind if BCS takes the opposite approach of BB's fairly dark ending and ends on at least the hint of a promising note for Jimmy/Saul/Gene, with him at least calling Kim on the phone or something.

Kim's story is definitely trending more towards my theory than away from it. I feel like we are in Kim's crossroads moment right now and she continues to be with Jimmy even when things get dirty.

Saul says he is going to see Kim.

He, in tears with a flower, walks torwards the camera, long front shot.

He stops,..camera changes, now from another angle we see he is at her grave.

Because she wasn't as close to the fire as Saul. She could have waited to see which way the wind was blowing and then bounced.

More evidence

Remember when Kim made Jimmy give her a dollar? There are only two reasons to do that.

1. The writers wanted to have fun with the viewer and show where Saul picked up that move.

2. They are foreshadowing what is about to come. If I am right and Kim and Jimmy create Saul together, that is the moment in a rewatch where you will realize they were hinting that Saul is a combination of both of them.

To me,BCS is hitting it's stride as much as I could hope for.

Hardly any Jimmy.Hector at Don E.'s getting fricked with.Gus going to see Mike to talk in person.

"A bullet in the head is too merciful for Hector".

I thought it was a great episode.

I've heard real lawyers talk about doing the one dollar thing before. It wasn't invented by Gilligan.

I realize he didn't invent it, but I think he using it as a little hint.

I think its only 8, maybe 10.

Has anyone mentioned why they thought Mike was taking the pics for? Jimmy mentioned duplicates so that goes along with the tape situation.

And what was the paper Mike gave Jimmy, the ex-wife contact info maybe?

It seems they are slowly baiting Chuck into lying under oath. Chuck telling Kim about the duplicate is the key. They are going to catch him entrapping Jimmy.

Whatever happens, it feels like Chuck dies because of trauma. Maybe a heart attack or something about Jimmy nails him in court. IDK but holy shite this show is good.

This episode was the best of the series. The Gus stuff is A+ and watching Mike at Chuck's was gold.

I think more and more that Jimmy ends up killing Chuck or committing him for good somehow even if and that's what turns him into Saul. It's going to tie into Jimmy "winning" this whole situation even thought he was in the wrong and killing Chuck (or getting him committed) is going to put him over the line. Kim may factor in as well but it has to be Chuck as the main source, which he then changes his name because he doesn't feel like he should be able to practice law under McGill anymore. I know I'm not 100% correct but I bet it at least is close to that.

At first I thought it would be a cool idea to have Kim in the BB world, maybe even some scenes like the alternate camera view of Jimmy's confession to Chuck, re-shoot some BB scenes in Saul's office from a different angle and then have Kim enter continuing the scene from Saul's POV. Now I think it may be a little too on the nose for Gilligan to have Kim existing during all of BB. This series has been much more light hearted than BB as far as Jimmy/Saul, I can't help but think Vince is going to drop the hammer on this character at some point, and I think it'll be losing Kim and finally going all the way "Bad" into Saul

I can see where you might have a strong shipper's urge for these two to stick together on good terms of some kind or another. But it just seems like a very long shot to me.

The guy who plays Hector is a good character actor. He did a great job in BB conveying emotion with a bell and face signals.

Wait...are some of you suggesting that either Kim or Jimmy doesn't really exist and they are just like the Jekyl to Saul's Hyde?

I think people are suggesting that Kim was around during the events of BB (and maybe was even complicit), but we just didn't see her in BB because her character wasn't created yet. And BCS would eventually enter the BB timeline and we'd see it from Saul's POV, with Kim involved and aware of what's going on. I think that's a stretch. I think it's more likely she's either dead or has left ABQ by the time BB starts.

I also think it's a stretch that she helped Jimmy create the Saul persona. I think Jimmy finally adopts it because either something happens to Kim, or he does it to protect her somehow. Heck, maybe she betrays him and goes back to HHM, and that is what causes Jimmy to go full Saul.

BB spoilers below

** Spoilers for anyone watching BCS, but haven't seen BB **

I thought about the final Tio Hector / Gus scene from BB when Gus said a bullet to the head was too humane for Hector.

I forgot what the beef was about so I had to go check:

When Hector shot Max, Gus's partner at Los Pollos Hermanos.

Gus was always playing the long game.

I bet it's the address/bank/safety deposit box where the original tape is located. Kim got Chuck to admit that there were in fact two tapes confirming what they were suspecting.
