Just finished. The ending was amazing. The season definitely got better as it progressed.

Keep going. You haven't gotten into any of the real good stuff yet. Go and look back closer to the start of this thread and you'll see that we all started expressing our doubts around episodes 3 or 4, and we've all come around to it.
And is it just me, or has Steve Holt aged terribly? He looks older than Gob himself.

I loved the season and the way it was structured. But if it wasn't on Netflix it would have been frustrating. Being on Netflix allowed it to start off slowly since we aren't waiting a week for another episode.

You people complaining really suck.
You sound exactly like everyone who watches the first 2-3 episodes of the series and write it off. Frickin watch some more and see if it gets better.
FWIW, I liked the first few episodes of season 4. While they were slow, I was just happy to have it back after all this time.

agreed. I'm ashamed at myself for complaining after only a few episodes. once you understand the format, it's vintage AD humor

I think they'll end up doing more seasons before they do a movie. Lucky for us none of their careers really took off after AD. Most of them do ok, but not so well they can't take a few months a year to film a season

It really does get better and better each episode

Bateman and Cera are the only ones I see who could be busy.

Will Arnett, Tony Hale, David Cross, and Jeffrey Tambor are pretty busy actually. That's over half the cast, to where it seems to be incredibly difficult to get them all back together.
But clearly from this season, they're planning on another one. Its not conclusive at all and ends in a cliff hanger, much more so than the original end. I really look forward to it, regardless if its a movie or another season. I thoroughly enjoyed it and still don't completely understand what happened. I think its just a matter of time before a big fan puts the season in chronological order to make it a bit more understandable.

Lots of unfinished storylines at the end and I think Netflix has done a good enough job with marketing for the show to continue.
I think at least one more season is needed before a movie, and I'm thrilled that they were confident enough in Season 4's future success whe writing it to use it to set up future episodes and movies rather than trying to tie it up neatly in case it doesn't get "renewed" for another season.

I've only watched the first 2 and when episode 2 ended, I realized that I "got it." I will admit that I was worried when Ep 2 started off in that sweat lodge.
I'm worried about Michael. Hope he can get his shite together.

Honestly, there's no way the entire cast wasn't planning on not having another season or at least movie together. Too many unresolved plot points. For instance, we have no idea why Christine Taylor was there. I'm guessing next season will have her in a much more prominent role, with Christine and Lindsay running against each other for office, while Lucille 2 and Love are missing completely.
