For this last movie, yes.
I assumed he was talking about when in Begins, Ra's told Wayne they first attacked Gotham via economics.

Of all of the smaller things that could have been done better in this movie the one that bothers me the most is how Bane died. having Anne hathaway be the one that kills him is so unsatisfying to an epic movie like this. IT is terrible in every sense of the word and the way Bane dies is not fitting for such a "menacing" character.
This had so much more potential than the way it was executed.

Agreed, you figure at the very least they'd show him with a gaping hole in his body or something. Instead, it's just *boom*, Catwoman enters and blows him away right when it looks like he's going to kill Batman. Very unsatisfying end to Bane's character.

Is this the Batman Spoiler thread??
I'll just leave this here:

So how long you've been waiting to use that?
Posted on 7/20/12 at 8:46 am to Tiger Ryno
Well, for one, we don't know if he died.
However, Bane had already been defeated and broken by Batman just a few minutes prior.

Why would Bane/League of Shadows work so hard to Ruin Gotham financially and Then blow it up with a Nuke? doesn't make a lick of sense. if you are going to Nuke an entire city and basically kill everyone, it makes financial ruin kind of a moot point.
Financial ruin was the first tactic used. In Ra's own words, they underestimated people like Bruce's parents so it didn't work. Then they tried other methods, using Crane and the hallucinogen in the water with the microwave emitter. Thwarted by Batman, they regroup, with Ra's dead, Talia can use Bane to finish the final plan of nuking the city.

Yeah, basically what I said, but with better grammar and syntax

He took a round to the chest that later took out armored vehicles.
Speaking of this, why did Lucius leave the keys in the ignition on all of them
And in a more serious critique....how did Bane know of not only the existence, but the location of Applied Sciences.
They made a point of repeatingly saying how off the books it was

People answered about Batmin Begins, but I think you are just referring to TDKR. The whole point of dragging out the destruction of Gotham in this movie was to punish Bruce Wayne for killing Ras.

IMO, the punishment was less the dragging out and more the making him powerless to do a damn thing about it.

Only complaint I really have is the ending. I was happy to see Bruce Wayne alive because it meant Alfred got what he want. He has probably been the best character of the series. However, how in the hell did Wayne escape in the blast, remember he had just got stabbed in the side either in the kidney or liver. And he just runs around like nothing happened.

Because the first time they attacked Gotham (which caused the depression that led to the murder of Bruce's parents) it was rich people like the Wayne's who were able to keep Gotham afloat long enough for the effects of the depression to finally subside. And then, when they attacked Gotham once more, it was a rich man named Bruce Wayne (in the guise of Batman) who stopped them from destroying the city a second time. Obviously the League of Shadows had learned from their mistakes. They demonize the rich, defeat and imprison Batman, and nothing else stands in their way of destroying Gotham.

Ok might be a dumb question but im not going thru 9 pages of stuff
When Alfred is in distress by Bruce Wayne's "grave" was it all an act or did he really believe that Wayne was dead?

Because Nolan is a genius bro! you simply can't understand something this deep. if you want mindless popcorn drivel go watch Spider man.

He really believed he was dead.

I know someone else said this earlier, but I got teary eyed in that moment.

Quotes from Begins -
Fox - "Nomex survival suit for advanced infantry. Kevlar bi-weave, reinforced joints."
Bruce - "Tear resistant?"
Fox - "This sucker will stop a knife."
Bruce - "Bulletproof?"
Fox - "Anything but a straight shot."
The knife probably had some penetration and was obviously shocking for him, but it likely did minimal damage to his internal organs.

I was waiting for Bane to say, "That's not what your mother said last night Trebek!"
Bruce Wayne could have easily escaped the Batplane before the bomb went off.
