Noomi Rapace, who played “Dr. Elizabeth Shaw” in Prometheus, is officially not returning to reprise her role in Alien: Covenant, according to director Ridley Scott.

Rapace was the only human survivor from the 2012 sci-fi/thriller, alongside Michael Fassbender’s “David”, who is confirmed to return. Per Xposé, the direct also stated, “We’re still casting the main roles.”

Whaaat?! I didn't see anything stating why she would not be coming back. Did I miss something?

I asked if Noomi Rapace, who was in his film Prometheus (from which Covenant follows), would be working with him in Australia and he said no. ‘We’re still casting the main roles,’ he said.

That's disappointing. I think she's a good actress.

I wouldn't say that, but it certainly isn't good news.

No, it's an overrated piece of shite, but there are some good things about it.

I feel the love. Don't blame me that you like movies so poorly conceived they collapse under their own weight in the first act.

It doesn't take a smart person to see that Prometheus was a clusterfrick of unimaginable proportions in every aspect except visuals.
