Criteria: Anything goes, usually: long (2+ hours, slow pace, lots of dialogue)

My vote : ||||||| "The Day After Tomorrow" ||||||||

(Although "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" put me down a few times recently)

My two go to sleep movies: Law Abiding Citizen and The Bucket List.

Crash hard with these two.

"Sphere" (the adaptation of the Michael Crichton novel) knocks me out every time. It's like anaesthesia to me.

In your mid 30s with two kids... literally anything.

Pretty sure on the couch I'd fall asleep to a hardcore threesome of scar jo, Beckinsale and Chewbacca while they simultaneously fought off storm troopers, vampires and a cartel of Russian mobsters.

Just watch CBS. It's how millions of Americans fall asleep.

Who needs movies?

Bob Ross will send you to dreamland with lots of happy little trees.

This is so weird, because I thought of this very question earlier in the week.

Was wondering what people like to put on to fall asleep to. but I don't mean exactly boring or anything... can be an actual good movie that just puts you at ease and easy to sleep halfway in.

I can't fall asleep to movies. Sportscenter or Food Network for me.

2001: A Space Odyssey

Or my go-to, The Thin Red Line...don't think I've ever made it past the first 20 minutes of that movie

Golf and NASCAR work pretty well.

But ... if not ... The Hobbit is on TNT right now.
