No discussion of last night's AHS Hotel? *spoilers*

The most predictable reveal. Jon is the 10 Commandments Killer. Other than that, this was the first episode not dripping with homoeroticism, which was nice.
Overall, this season is just not very interesting. They overplayed the shock factor and didn't build the story up enough. The whole vampire tie-in to the hotel is totally unnecessary and seems like a way to homo it up with Lady Gaga.
That said, Evan Peters has been really good this season. He seems to really have grown into his own as an actor through the years, and I'm hoping he gets away from AHS to find some interesting parts.

TBH, I abandoned ship about 3 episodes ago.
I'll probably catch it when it comes to Netflix, but I just couldn't get into this season.

My wife still wants to watch so I watch some of the episodes.
My biggest complaint is there are just too many goddamn plotlines.
Wtf happened to the vampire children that murdered all their teachers?
Where has drillbit dick gone?
Why the frick do they sew people into beds?
The showrunners need to learn how to edit down their ideas a little bit.

Pretty well put. It's like they have all these grandiose scenes to shock the viewer, but no coherent plot. Freakshow suffered the same way.

They took this shite and cranked it up to 11 for Hotel. This episode is the only one this season that didn't get overtly homo.
Like I said in the OP, Evan Peters' performance has been the only redeeming quality to this season. Well, I do enjoy Gaga's tits and arse.

The random alien shite seemed so forced and pointless. That said, how have they not done a straight up AHS Abduction yet? You'd think Murphy would jump at the opportunity for some anal probe scenes.

They've turned down the sadism, which is nice -- no women getting mutilated by their fathers and turned into snake-like creatures, or getting their legs chopped off by German S&M filmmakers or serial rapists who dress as Santa Claus.
But this season is dull and nothing connects. There's also no real sense of menace. Dandy and the Clown last season were legit scary threats. Evan Peters and Dennis O'Hare are the only good things about the season -- and Lady Gaga's arse.

The first few episodes started off strong and how it's a big meh. If it continues I think it needs a a completely different cast and new directors.

It's sucks because the show has flashes of greatness, but it always zigs and zags into the realm of ridiculous.
