The first Lego movie was good because it had some talent behind it with Lord and Miller. This is a cash grab with a script that was written by committee.

Yeah it sucked. Watched a few seasons of the show with my 6 year old. Way better than this garbage.

I didn't like it either. Way too serious with the father/son drama, not very funny and overall just seems like a waste. I loved the Lego and lego batman movie. This seemed like a ripoff. Very disappointing.

If this is worse than Lego Batman, then there's no way I'm going see it. Wife will have to take the kids.

I really thought they had something good after how great the actual Lego Movie was, but I also didn't care for Lego Batman and now this also sounds disappointing.
