He's very hard to pull of. There's a reason they've waited this long to bring the X-Men's second biggest villain to the big screen. Oscar Issac is awesome though, so he's worth being given a chance.

I'm really excited for this movie.

Speaking of that, I think Cinema Sins said it best.

Just for once, let's see an honest reaction from men when mystique turns in front of them. They would t be disgusted and they'd sure as hell still want to screw her.

Same here, I've really enjoyed the past two films. I have to admit that there's something off with this one thou. It just looks too fake for me.

I just don't like the younger cast. They seem like x-children and aren't badass

I'm sure Bryan Singer went through an extensive casting process for the role of young Cyclops. No telling how many young male actors he spent time with.

The voice was key and they fricked it up.

You have to have the Apocalypse voice if you go live action with him.

Still looks overall like a solid film though.

I agree with you except that they are "badass" mutants. Cyclops is boring, but he is the epitome of a leader. Jean is possibly the strongest mutant alive. Nightcrawler and Quicksilver are really cool. Jubilee is garbage. I would just think that when the biggest threat to the world ever shows up ready to wreck shop, the best of the mutants would come out to play. Where the hell is everybody else?

Noticed in one scene we see Angel with his actual wings. I wonder how much time is going to span during the movie. (Obviously we will see some Ancient Egypt) Also notice the casting of Plague, Death, and Caliban (Have someone cast simply as Horseman #4) so either they are shown as part of the original horseman in Egypt or they replace Magneto, Psyloche, Storm, and Angel once they snap out of his control.

I think that's the point.

I like the younger cast minus Sansa Stark being Jean.

My biggest problem is trying to envision how Apocalypse and his horsemen will fall to the remaining X-Men minus a Phoenix style intervention. Their team is pretty weak to be honest compared to Magneto, Storm, Psyloche, and Apocalypse.

Based on what? He's a drawing on a comic book page.
